Mission Statement
"To provide advice and support for families who have children with an autistic spectrum condition, in the Tees Valley area".
Who are we?
Originally a government funded project launched in 2002, now a registered charitable company, based at the Beverley School for Children with Autism site.
Services offered include:
- Home visits & Assessments.
- Website/ Internet access
- Use of a resource library specific to ASD.
- Weekly social clubs for 40 children – age 11-19.
- Various workshops, enabling parents/carers to increase their knowledge,and understanding of ASC.
- Professional seminars focusing on particular issues –speakers from around the world.
- Support groups.
- Up date with local and national agencies, organisations and services.
- Social groups for adults aged 19-26.
