Social Networking Opportunity Groups

The MAIN Project runs several adult social groups across the Tees Valley area, the group meets in communtiy locations across Teesside and creates social opportunties and peer support for those adults who have social intergration issues.

Activites vary week to week and are determined by each groups meetings, MAIN provides faciltators for the group members to naturally develop skills which others take for granted, such as making friends, confidence building, creating social networks, and those who access the service find it invaluable.

Members who attend are charged *£30 per session which includes some activity costs.  This can be paid with Individual Budgets, Direct Payments, or funded directly by the individual.

The Group is open to adults 18+ is available to be accessed by anyone who feels they woyuld benefit from further social inclusion and may struggle to form friednships without the support of such as session.

An element of activity costs are built into the current charges.

Note *£30 per session is currently under review and MAIN is looking to reduce this charge in early March 2012.

We also offer subsidised activity costs for those who attend and support with fundraising.
